GROUP Programme

6-weeks 'Break Free from Binge Eating'

Coaching programme

Introducing my NEW Group Programme: Break Free from Binge Eating

This is my new six-week group programme which launches in February 2025 and I am giving a few people a fantastic opportunity to become a Founder Group Member.

Who is this programme “Break Free from Binge Eating” for?

This NEW course is for anyone struggling with binge eating, or binge eating and compensating in some way- this could be by:

– Restricting (starving or severely limiting your food after a binge)

– Purging – vomiting or using laxatives

– Over- Exercising to “make up” for the calories you think you have eaten

And it has got to the point where it is negatively impacting on your life and/or your health.

You feel out of control around food and you are miserable.

You may not be sure yet if you need 1-1 therapy, but you know you cannot carry on as you are. You know you cannot manage or recover alone. You might have already tried self- help.

Is this you? If so, read on.

What is the primary goal of this programme?

To learn about, and put in to practice, strategies that will help you:

  • Understand what binge eating is and the drivers for binge eating
  • Learn about compensatory behaviours and how this only drives more urges to binge
  • Understand what drives YOUR binge eating
  • Learn how the brain works in relation to binge eating
  • Learn about positive habit change to help you make changes for good
  • Reduce the frequency and severity of your binges
  • Gain confidence that things CAN change for you.

How is the course delivered?

The course will have six weekly modules delivered via a mixture of video and written content for you to listen to and work on, PLUS a weekly live session with me via a specific Facebook Group which you will join on successful application to the course.

Modules include:

  • What we mean by binge eating and binge eating disorder. When is my problem a problem? What’s the difference between a dieting mentality and disordered eating?
  • Our tricky brains- an introduction to the neuroscience around binge eating and how we can change things!
  • “Nutritional Rehabilitation” – what it means, how we start and why everything starts with understanding our eating
  • Binge eating urges and management strategies – part 1
  • Binge eating strategies- part 2
  • How to manage when things get tough and next steps

You will also get:

  • A fillable journal
  • Quizs to help you understand yourself a bit more in relation to your binge eating/ compensatory behaviours / habits
  • Two hypnotherapy recordings – sleep and relaxation on week 1, and managing binge and purge urges at week 4.
  • Binge urge checker and toolkit

I’m excited! How do I sign up?

Because this is a new course, I am doing a very special launch programme for a small number of people at a vastly reduced price.  To apply, you need to complete this short Application Form.  Or you can send an email to  info@recoveryworks.co.uk referencing “Break Free course”.

The privacy and confidentiality terms and conditions are all on the form but as part of this very special offer I do require that you actively participate and join the Facebook group; you share your wins and support your group members in this safe community where people will understand your struggles.

I will be looking for constructive feedback and may use your commentary if you enjoy the course on my website. That will be part of the requirement for joining the course at the reduced rate! This helps me to provide what you need and want in the future.

If your application is successful, you will be sent a link for payment.

How much will it cost?

The future cost of the course will be £399.00 but for the launch group, it will be only £49.99!

When does it start?

The course starts on Monday 17 February 2025 and the first live will be on Wednesday 19 February at 7 pm.

All lives are recorded for you to watch on catch – up but as this course is a group, the more participation, the better it is!

Looking forward to working with you!

"I’m slowly learning to love myself and treat myself as I would others, but equally I am learning when to let go of things that don’t serve me.
I was swallowing anger and fear and stuffing down my feelings with food. I was absolutely exhausted with it all.
Su’s warmth and empathy, but giving me a professional “push” when I needed it, helped me through.
I found CBT-E really helpful as I liked the structure and the work between sessions helped me to put things into real-life practice. I’ve changed my job and I’m no longer hiding in the car eating because I was ashamed to eat in front of others. That is massive."
